Welcome to The National Academy of Human Resources

The National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR), founded in 1992, is the organization where individuals of distinction in human resources are recognized for exceptional professional achievement by election as "Fellows of the NAHR". The Academy also occasionally recognizes human resources related groups as "Honored Institutions/Organizations". Election as a Fellow of the NAHR is by vote of the membership and is the highest honor granted in the human resources profession. In 2018 the NAHR installed its 176th Fellow. Over the last two decades, twelve organizations have also been recognized as "Honored Institutions/Organizations." In 2018, the NAHR recognized it's thirteenth organization.

NAHR Fellows work to enhance the human Resources profession by leading and participating in the many programs and studies sponsored by the NAHR Foundation, including our signature event, the NAHR CHRO Academy for first time CHROs.
