About NAHR
The National Academy of Human Resources, founded in 1992, is the organization where individuals of distinction in human resources are recognized for professional achievement by election as "Fellows of the NAHR". The Academy also occasionally recognizes human resource related groups as "Honored Institutions/Organizations". Through their collaborative efforts, the work of the profession is advanced.

Election as a Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources is the highest honor that can be achieved by an individual. In 2007 the NAHR installed its 127th Fellow. Over the past decade, ten organizations have also been recognized as "Honored Institutions/Organizations."

Nominations for the Class of 2008 will open January 2008 and close March 31, 2008.

Fellows of the NAHR will be widely known as leaders in the profession, have meritorious national reputations for shaping human resource thinking and policy, and have demonstrated an unfailing commitment to success. A full statement of requirements can be found by clicking "Fellowship Requirements" on the left side of this page.

The (tax exempt) NAHR Foundation conducts programs to improve the performance of the profession and supports research that adds to the base of human resource knowledge. The Foundation and the Fellows also conduct the highly successful Chief Human Resource Officer Academy.
